SPECIES LIST


The Archive includes footage of several hundred identified species of flora
and fauna. Although many of the filmed species were identified, many were not.



The Archive includes striking shots of:

- 54 identified birds including Kookaburra, Rosellas, Lorikeets, Satin &
Regent Bowerbirds, Cockatoos, Whipbird, Tawny Frogmouth, Herons,
Thornbills, Wrens.

- 27 identified orchids (Cymbidium, different examples of Pterostylis, Chiloglottis, Dendrobium) including the Crucifix and King Orchids.

- A great variety of fungi including Stinkhorn, Puff Ball, Russula, Aseroe
rubra, Dictyophera indusiata, Fuligo septica.

- 77 of the Mountain's resident creatures such as the Graceful Tree Frog,
Huntsman Spider, Carpet Python, Taipan, Tiger Snake, Death Adder, Lace
Monitor (Goanna), Goliath Stick Insect, Pretty-faced Wallaby, Red-necked
Pademelon, Blue Triangle Butterfly, Leech, King Cricket, Scrub Turkey, Pygmy
Feathertail Glider, Dwarf Crowned Snake.

- And very many native and introduced trees and plants including the
Piccabeen Palm, Strangler Fig, Yellow Carabeen, Moreton Bay Fig,
Lepidozamia, Bottle Tree, Jacaranda, Flame Tree, Banksia etc. And a
species of Zieria which grows only on the Mountain.
